I’ve always had one rule:
Don’t mix business and pleasure.
But then Landon Wright comes home to his family’s construction company with a broken back and a beaten heart and ends up as my new sexy boss. As the office gets heated, I’m thinking about throwing the rulebook out the window.
If only there weren’t a million reasons this could never work.
We may have shared a single perfect kiss, but I can’t let our intense connection cloud my judgment. Not with everything I’ve worked for on the line.
Dating your boss is so very, very wrong…even if he feels so Wright.
Landon Wright is one Wright member I couldn’t wait to read about! Landon is married to the Bitch of all Bitches, Miranda. I couldn’t wait to see how he finally gets rid of her obnoxious ass because that woman is a blood sucking pirahana if you know what I mean. Heidi is Emery’s best friend and would never go for Landon because of Emery’s relationship in high school with Landon. But when friendship starts to feel more like lust and companionship, will Landon and Heidi be able to resist each other?
“Fuck everything else in my life. This was the moment when I made Heidi Martin mine.”
I absolutely loved Wright Brother and couldn’t wait for Landon and Heidi. Unfortunately I didn’t love it, I did like it but it couldn’t compare to Jensen and Emery’s story. While I loved the characters and their connection, I felt the story was too slow paced for me. I know! That never ever happens with any of Ms. Linde’s books so it was truly a shock. I absolutely love everything she writes so this was sort of devastating to me. What I absolutely did enjoy and love is seeing more of the Wright family members in the story. It’s always a good time getting to see little snippets of them and try to guess how they will wind up in their own books! Even though I didn’t love this one, I still recommend you read these stories because this family might have a lot of drama but I love their closeness and how they support and help each other so much. 4 stars.
