A new adult romance from Entangled's Embrace imprint...
No kissing. No touching. And definitely no falling in love...
Armed with her besties, an embarrassing number of shots, and her list of 10 Wild Things To Do Before Adulthood, recent grad Cameron Lawson is partying it up before she starts her dream job at New York's biggest ad agency. Her last task? Hook up with a random guy. And while it's so not her style, the super-sexy guy sitting next to her is definitely game. No names. No details.
At least, that was the plan.
On her first day of work, Cameron discovers her hook-up is none other than Aidan Truitt-her new boss's boss. Talk about failing the "no fraternizing with coworkers" policy on an epic level. Especially when Aidan makes it clear their one night was only the beginning. Falling for him could cost her everything, but sometimes the only way to get what you want is by breaking a few rules...
I glanced quickly at the door and then leaned in closer and lowered my voice. “Look, so we had sex. It doesn’t have to be a thing. It’s nothing. No big deal.”
Aidan raised his eyebrows as a slow grin spread across his face. “Actually, I was just going to tell you that you have a little mustard on your cheek. Right there.”

This story started off really strong and I thought that Cameron and Aiden had amazing chemistry right away. I love how quickly Aiden stepped in to help Cameron complete her list before her friends.
The whole premise of finding out that they work together and that there is a no fraternizing policy was awesome. I couldn’t wait to see how they would get around it. However, they didn’t seem to have too much trouble breaking the rules pretty quickly. I’m still not sure where the no kissing rule came in to the story because they never seemed to hold back on the kisses, especially at work.
I felt really connected to Cameron and Aiden as a couple but I wish there had been more to it. They seemed to go from strangers to lovers to more pretty easily. I hate to say it but I wish there had been a little more drama and emotion to their story.
Overall though this was a quick, easy, enjoyable read and the writing style was great. I would absolutely read more from this author.
My favorite romances to read are friends to lovers, second chance romance, and lifelong love stories. I read mostly YA, NA and contemporary but I've been known to enjoy a good erotica romance now and again. I enjoy sex in books but it's not required for me to enjoy a story. Too much sex can be worse than none, in my opinion.
I don't really enjoy books with love triangles and/or cheating, and I don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy or suspense books.
On any given day you'll find me camped out on my couch with my Kindle in one hand, a Mountain Dew in the other, the tv on in the background (Food Network or Hallmark Channel) with one or both of my kids and my husband trying to get me to answer them about when we might eat again.
